After School with Jake

Since Jude was born Jacob has been evovling into the "BIG BOY" that God created him to be. He changed his name to Jake and will quickly correct you if you call him Jacob. He says, "Mom...its J-A-K-E." He not only can spell his new nickname but can write it. After one day of Pre-K he brought home work with J-K-E on everything. Since then, he has learned to add the A.

We working on listening and obeying at school and home. Our friend Nikko comes over everyday after school on the BUS as a treat if the boys are using their listening ears in Mrs. Cummins class. We have also started gymnastics. Jake loves gymnastics. During the week I will frequently remind him to listen by saying, "Jake use your gymnastics listening ears, if you want to be in gymnastics you have to be a good listener. Check back for pics from Gymnastics.
Jake loves to make coffee for Mama afterschool...and crunch coffee beans.

Jude's First Month

A Few Minutes Old: Eight Pounds 10 Ounces; 10:32am

Its OK Daddy's Got You

Jude actually did "poop in Mama's Belly" so he was taken away from me right after he was born. Sam was by his side comforting him with every new experience that life was bringing him. It was cold and bright and painful but daddy's hand on him made it all better.

What comes next is thpeace which passeth all understanding.

Then Here Come the Big Brothers...

Home At Last Listening to "Hey Jude"

Once Sam played this for him from the get-go, Jude will fall asleep whenever and where ever he hears his song.

Jude had vistors from Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, San Marcos, Austin, Florida and Pfugerville within the first 24 hours of being home. Thankyou precious family for coming to share is birth with us.

Day 2 Jude is smiling and holding up his head, and boy does he look like SAM.
At two weeks Jude had his first bath and
his first road trip to Houston.

In Houston we met our cousin Haden Star, Aunt Kathy and Uncle Chad and Aunt Pat and Uncle Jack.

Papa fed him his first bottle.

Life is GOOD in Baba and Granddaddy's arms.

At four weeks we celebrated the upcoming arrival of our new cousin

Ethan Christopher

Cousins are fun!

So are Friends...

Six Weeks I am rolling over

and playing with my pacifier.

Today is the Day!

Hello all, I started contractions at 2:00am. Proceeded to clean toliets, sweep and hang pictures, you know the things you always do in the middle of the night wondering if your sweet little angel will arrive today. It is 6:00am now and the contractions are 10 minutes apart lieing down and alot closer while walking around.

We are dropping the boys off at sweet, sweet Melissa's house and going to Kinkos to get Sam's final English paper bound and delivered. He wants to take his final exam at 8:00am but we will see what the contractions are doing.

Love to all. Please call or come by and see us at the Hospital

Thursday and Holding

We went to the Doctor today and they checked me inside and out. Dr. Darby, the sonagram specialist, showed Jude weighing in at eight pounds ten ounces. Jonah was eight pounds fifteen ounces and Jacob came into the world at nine pounds flat. Dr. Mills, my OB, did her thing and I am 3 cm dialated and 60% efaced. He still has not dropped low enough for her to feel his head, but the nurse, Darlene, said that can happen right as he is being delivered. So this little one is probably holding out for Friday night again. We will let you know!!
